The aim of the module is to provide an understanding of human anatomy and physiology, through the study of the body systems. This module focuses on the structure of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system and the systems that control and service them.

This module underpins the entire programme in that it aims to develop positive, reflective and self-motivated students who will graduate with a professional attitude towards their future area of employment.

The philosophy of this module permeates through the entire programme and is at all stages made relevant to the student’s needs both for their programme and for their profession. The module also addresses the minimum criteria for presentation of written work.
